Below are a collection of exclusive birthday cards that I designed using my Dolly Daydream brand for FunkyPigeon. They requested that I make a range of cards for young girls aged roughly 1-8 with a mixture of photo upload designs and non-photo upload designs. I created these designs with all little girls in mind, the girly girls and the slightly more tomboy girls. With these designs, I would like all young girls to be inspired to try the sports and hobbies they've always dreamed of, even if they have been branded "for boys". To be free and yourself is incredibly important and I hope that message is conveyed throughout these designs.
Below I have shared some of the inside pages I created for FunkyPigeon. These are customisable pages and designs that go on the inside of the cards when the customer is making them. I have included some colouring in line art which kids absolutely love and there are also some stickers which can be placed inside the card where the customer chooses to add a personal touch and decoration.
